We believe in women's sport and we promote it for a better sport
At Beach Tennis Barcelona Club we promote the High Performance Female Group Project in beach tennis with the support of Barcelona's city council ( @bcnesports ) and the Government of Catalonia (@esportcat), using the methodology of B-side Beach Tennis. A clear commitment of our Club to federated and professional women's sports, pioneer in Spain. The Project seeks to boost the growth, development and opportunities of top-level players as well as, at a second level, offer a space for improvement to Beach Tennis School players.

We know the reality of the sports world, and we can affirm that there is still a long way to go if we want to achieve full equality of treatment, rights and opportunities between men and women athletes. Betting on women's sport is betting on the future. We want to give high-level players the opportunity to improve their training, become more professional, and participate in major competitions.

Within the elite sports world, values such as individualism, unfiltered competitiveness, self-centeredness or rivalry reign. BTB Club runs away from this concept of sport in all its activities. In this sense, the Women's High Performance Group is a project that, according to the conception that we promote of beach tennis, seeks to promote high-performance sport from the logic of team values, companionship and respect. We want to grow great players, yes, but not at any price.

Barcelona, and BTB Club, is fortunate to host many of the best beach tennis players nationwide. A well done job, the good results and the visible commitment we give to women's sports has let us position as a benchmark in women's beach tennis. Eva Fernández, a young promise of world beach tennis, current top 25 in the world and champion of Spain repeatedly, has been part of the project for 3 years.
